This Privacy Policy describes how ChartAI (the “Service”) processes personal data in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741‑1981, the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security), 5777‑2017, and applicable international standards. By using the Service, you consent to this Policy.

Information We Collect

• Account data: email, name (if you sign up) and authentication tokens.
• Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser metadata.
• Content you upload: chart images for AI analysis. Files are processed to produce results and are not kept longer than necessary.
• Payment data: handled by our processors (Lemon Squeezy/PayPal); we do not store card numbers.
• Cookies and similar tech: used for session security, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies in your browser.

Purposes and Legal Basis

• Provide and improve features (analysis, charts, personalization) — performance of contract and legitimate interests.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, and monitor reliability — legitimate interests and legal obligations.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions — performance of contract.
• Communicate product updates and support — consent or legitimate interests; you may opt out at any time.

Data Retention

Uploaded chart images are used to generate results and then discarded as soon as processing completes or within a short operational window. Account and billing data are retained while your account is active and thereafter only as required by law, accounting, and dispute‑resolution needs. Aggregated analytics may be kept for performance and security.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help operate the Service (hosting, analytics, customer support, payment, and AI model providers). These providers are bound by confidentiality, security, and data‑processing agreements.

Your Rights

• Under Section 13 of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law: right to review data about you stored in our databases, and request correction or deletion.
• Right to portability/export where technically feasible.
• Right to object to direct marketing.

Security

We implement organizational and technical measures required by the Israeli Data Security Regulations, including access controls, encryption in transit, and auditing. No method is 100% secure; report issues to support@chartai.com.

International Transfers

Data may be processed in Israel, the EU, the United States, and other regions where our providers operate. When data leaves Israel, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections and vendor assessments.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a minor provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes and update the effective date above.
